
How do I ensure that my job search through Power is confidential?
Your relationship with Power is strictly confidential. We will present opportunities to you and review details of the position prior to presenting your resume. We will not present your resume or check references without your knowledge.
Why is it important for me to have a face-to-face interview?
A good match for both client and candidate is the most important part of our job. During the interview we will learn about your goals, career development and requirements. We will explain our placement process and present opportunities that match your goals, skills and education.
Do you currently have a position available for me?
Power has many open positions and is in contact with hundreds of companies. It is likely that we will be able to help you. However, we need to review your goals, requirements, career development, geographic restrictions as well as the environment you would like to work in.
What if I find a position on my own?
Congratulations. Our goal is for you to secure a new opportunity. Please inform us so we can stop our search process on your behalf.
Do I have to pay any fees?
Absolutely nothing. Our fees are paid by our clients.
Would I be able to get a better salary if I went direct to the employer?
Not necessarily. In fact, a staffing service could even negotiate a higher salary than you could. By using a staffing service, the client saves a lot of time and money, which they would have spent on advertising and recruiting candidates. In addition, we know the needs of our clients and by presenting a perfect candidate for a position; we are able to negotiate an appropriate salary.
Can you guarantee me a job?
We cannot guarantee you a position but we guarantee that we will make every effort to secure a position for you. Finding a position depends on a number of factors – skills, experience, salary requirements etc. Many of our clients use our services exclusively and do not advertise their job opportunities.
